LOVE GOD
- We are called and commanded to love God individually and as the church. We learn by the gift of the Holy Spirit to live in Christ as we spend time in His Word, in Prayer, and in Worship.
Deuteronomy 6:5-6 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.(ESV)
WALK TOGETHER
- We as a church body are to actively serve, encourage, disciple others in the church. We serve by volunteering in ministries inside and outside the church. We encourage and disciple others by actively participating in their lives displaying Christ through Bible Studies, Life Groups, Sunday morning worship and daily life.
Acts 2:44-46 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,(ESV)
CHANGE LIVES
- We are called to make Disciples and reach those who have yet to come to a saving faith in Jesus. Along with reaching the lost we ourselves are to continue to live a transformed life continually seeking to be sanctified in the likeness of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Galatians 2:20 “It is Christ who lives in me” “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”
